Meet Nicole

Nicole Agro is a Clinical Therapist at Dr. Gayle M. Goldstein & Associates, under the supervision of Dr. Gayle Goldstein. Nicole is a professionally trained Art Therapist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies (Art Therapy) from Concordia University and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with memberships in the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), the Academy of Naturopaths and Naturotherapists (ACNN), and the Canadian Art Therapy Association.

Nicole works with children, adolescents, adults, and families in schools, clinics, community programs, and virtual care settings. She holds extensive experience in providing individual and group therapy for clients from diverse backgrounds, including Deaf, Hard of Hearing, neurodivergent, Indigenous, and other community groups.

Drawing from her training and expertise with various psychotherapeutic approaches, Nicole takes an integrative, collaborative approach to treatment—tailoring personalized treatment plans in accordance to each client’s unique needs and goals. She has extensive experience supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, ADHD, and Autism, and incorporates a variety of creative tools,  media and modalities to help clients express and process emotions that may be difficult to articulate in words.

Providing services in both English and American Sign Language (ASL), Nicole strives to create a safe, inclusive, and accessible therapeutic environment where clients can communicate—verbally or non-verbally—and build resilience, insight, and connection through meaningful self-exploration.
