Rizk Elmadbak (he/him) is currently a Master’s student in the Clinical Psychology program (Adult Stream) at York University and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Toronto. His research explores the relationship between defense mechanisms and the therapeutic alliance in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) for borderline personality disorder. Previously, Rizk worked as an instructor therapist supporting Autistic children and young adults, as well as individuals with ADHD. He is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care and creating an inclusive space for all.
