Meet Christina
Christina has been an associate at Dr. Gayle M. Goldstein & Associates since 2021. She is currently completing her doctorate degree in Clinical Developmental Psychology at York University. Prior to beginning the Clinical Developmental Psychology program, Christina completed a Master’s of Science in Community Health, specializing in Addictions and Mental Health, at the University of Toronto. Christina has over 6 years of relevant experience conducting Behavioural Therapy with Autistic children and adolescents. She is currently learning additional neurodivergent affirmative ways of working with Autistic individuals. She also has a keen interest in parent coaching regarding how to best support Autistic children. In addition, Christina is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). She believes that therapy should be tailored to meet the needs of the client, focusing on their unique strengths.
Christina completed training in psychological assessments and psychotherapy through the York University Psychology Clinic, The Child and Adolescent Psychology Centre, the Mindful Living Centre, and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a range of presenting concerns including Autism, learning disabilities, fragile X syndrome, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders/styles.
